MHS 2020 Fall Conference Postponed

Now Rescheduled As The

MHS 2021 Fall Conference

at The Terrace Inn, Bay View, Michigan
October 1-3, 2021

YES, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have reluctantly postponed our Fall conference this year and rescheduled it for October of next year. We still plan to have the same excellent theme and speakers that were planned for this year - Hemingway and the American Indians in the area during his time. A very intersting topic worth waiting for. Have something you would like to share on this topic? Let us know at info@michiganhemingwaysociety.org

The Terrace Inn in the Northern Michigan Chautauqua community of Bay View will again be our conference headquarters for 2021. If you had a room already reserved for the 2020 conference you must call 231-347-2410 to reschedule for 2021 or to cancel your reservation. Rescheduling now is highly recommended to be assured of the availability, at your existing rate, of one of the 38 quaint rooms in this historic hotel.

Scholarships and awards are available to help defray the cost of attending the conference next year. See details at the Scholarships and Awards webpage.

We hope to see you Up North in October next year for another enjoyable weekend with friends who share an interest in Hemingway and in the environment that so significantly influenced him and his writings.
